Cloud - Azure

Infra Layer

Involved in provisioning different resouces via Azure Portal as well as working with ARM templates. Enabling networking between different resouces, access control, integrations are my daily play books. Some resour ces which I work on regular basis are : VNets, Subnets, Azure Kubernetes Clusters, Azure Container Registry, Application Insights, Azure Databricks, Azure Datafactory, Blob Storages, ADLS Gen2, Private DNS Zones, Application Gateways, etc.

Cloud - Azure

DB/Hadoop Layer

Actively working with different teams for enabling DB / Hadoop layer. Few technologies which I'm working on for this layer are : PostgreSQL Single Server & Flexi Server, SQL Server, HDInsights HBase Cluster, Apache PhoenixDB, Worker Nodes, Query Servers, Zookeeper Nodes, Head Nodes, Edge Nodes, etc. Also, working on different data migration activies such as Phoenix to Postgres Migaration, etc.

Data Engineering Layer

Associated with ETL Team for enabling multiple integrations and data transformations across multiple enviornments utlizing Azure services like Databricks, Datafactory, Datalake, HBase, etc.

Hybrid - Cloud/On-Prem

E2E Setup

Taking care building, packaging, releasing and deploying the applications also along with the required infra. Working on multitude of Microservices (Java, Python, Angular), pushing the code on Gitlab, using Jenkins to build and dockerize the Microservices and utlizing Azure DevOps to pull the images and deploy it on Azure Kubernetes Clusters.

Hybrid - DevOps

DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, I'm resonponsible to end to end setup of multitude of enviornments either on On-Premise servers and on Azure Managed services. Continuously working on technologies like Gitlab for Source Code Repository, Jenkins for CI (Building and Packaging), Nexus for Artifact Repository, Dockerhub for Docker Image Repository, Maven for Building Java Microservices, Python Test Cases using PyTest modules, SonarQube for Code Covergae and Quality, Anchore for Vulnerability scanning in Docker Images, Azure DevOps Pipelines for CD (Azure CI Pipelines for Deploying the Workloads into AKS clusters) and much more for DB and ETL layers as well.

Networking and Service Routing

Expert in setting up and managing Istio Service Mesh for application routing and trafficking via different channels utilzing Istio Resources like Ingress Gateways, IstioD, IstioOperator, Destination Rules, VirtualServices, mTLS, Weightage Switching, Canary, Blue/Green, etc.
